Back in 2005, we were tasked with lettering over 100 vehicles for a new company, Aster Property Management, who had just recently taken over Sarsen Housing in Devizes and Testway Housing in Andover. 7 years later, the company had grown considerably & as a result, wanted to re-brand. Working closely with their in-house design team, we came up with a design that would work well on all of their vehicles. As with all companies, vehicles off the road is a big problem, so to keep downtime to a minimum, we devised a rota that would allow us to letter 15 vehicles a week whilst still keeping them out on the road.
The re-branding involved stripping the old vinyl lettering off, cleaning the paintwork down & applying the new livery that included a large digital print, of which there were 5 different designs.
As there were now over 300 vehicles on the fleet, this was a considerable task, but with careful planning, constant communication & an understanding that not all vehicles might turn up on time, or at all, we still managed to complete the re-branding contract ahead of schedule, and on budget, and that is something we are very proud of indeed.
As a result of our work on this contract, we were awarded the contract with Aster Living, a sub division of the Aster Group. This contract involved the removal of the old Handihelp graphics & replacing with a new, modern, fresh corporate look, with the applcation of some large, digitally printed graphics. Once again, this was completed on budget, time and with minimal disruption to the care team.
